Variable frequency drives control the speed of electric motors by varying the frequency of the electricity. VFD’s are used to control CFM and static pressure on AHU’s, GPM and head on pumps. VFD’s are also used to control exhaust fans, cooling tower fans and compressors. AMSS is an “Authorized” service provider for many VFD manufactures on a global basis.
